§ 2 · Features

See what else you can do.

  1. I

    Study tools

Ask for an explanation of the question you are on, or write a note without leaving it. Have missed questions saved automatically, practice them again later, or switch to a timed exam when you want to test yourself.

  2. II

    Higher coverage, higher grades

Check which parts of a lecture your questions cover and which still need attention. Start with the main ideas, then work through the smaller details. Search for a term to find the slide that explains it, and keep that slide beside your questions.

  3. III

    Stats and Saved Content

Find the questions you saved, the notes you wrote and the explanations you want to revisit, organized by lecture. See which questions you miss most and how your accuracy changes over time. Use that history to decide what to review next.

  4. IV

    Planner

Bring in exam dates from a calendar file, a photo of your schedule or pasted text, and review them before adding anything. Choose your lectures and available study time to build a plan for the days before an exam. You can edit the plan and export it to your usual calendar.

  5. V

    Voice Control

Record a lecture and keep the audio, a written transcript and a PDF of the key takeaways. While studying, use spoken commands to find a slide, ask a question or move through your work. This guide explains how to set up your microphone and use both features.

§ 3 · Questions

Before you upload.

What can I upload?

Your study files: PDFs, PowerPoint slides and Word documents.

Does it work on my phone?

You can browse this website on a phone. The study workspace supports computers and iPads; it is not available on phones.

Is it really free?

Yes. With no account or subscription you get 5 quiz generations and 5 Ask Memoraful requests a day. Add your own Google Gemini API key to unlock Lecture Recorder, the other study tools and the voice tutor.

Can I record a lecture?

Yes. Open Learn → Lecture Recorder, choose or upload a lecture, and prepare it. With your Google Gemini API key added in Settings, press record to capture audio and follow the live transcript. Audio streams to Google for transcription. The recording saves on this device every 30 seconds, and Finish lets you download the audio and transcript or a PDF summary.

Where do my files go?

Your sessions are saved in your browser, on your device. To write questions and explanations, the lecture's content is sent to the AI model that generates them.
